Lake Toma. After a steep hike up, (2,600 m (8,500 ft) i found the cradle of the river Rhine. The river is the longest in Europe, forms the border between Switzerland / Germany, and Germany / France. It finds its end in Holland where it has its outlet in the North Sea / on to the Atlantic. The river has an average discharge of more than 2,000 cubic metres per second (71,000 cu ft/s).

excellent shot. the rocks on the side lead you into the lake. i like the term "cradle of the rhine. the colors are very nice throughout.
