Burg Thurant overlooking the river Mosel and village Alken. The castle dates back to the year 1197. The Mosel river is well known for their vineyards, but as you can see i was a bit to early in the year to find grapes. (image taken 4-4-2009) Alken, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
