It looks as if there is a star imploding.

I really love the shade of red in this! A good idea to bring up the light as the above person said. Sometimes it is simply a matter of monitors that images look bright on one and dark on another. I found that to be true with some of my own. I thought they were bright enough until I put them on disk and viewed them on several other monitors. So, now I brightern my images a little more. Have you tried something with several hues? I assume you are using apophysis.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Looks good though I can't do this kind of work myself, so it's hard for me to judge. It definitely has a cosmic feel to it. Like solar flares bursting.

Love the red, goes well with the black. Good design, could've cut off the some of the circles and made them curves. Still great!
