I like it and it reminded me of glass, too, but I was thinking of spun glas lit from behind by bright lights. It's very beautiful - like a fine crystal ornament of one of those glass sun catchers. Except that I've never seen one this lovely and this seems to be lit by white light rather than the golden light of the sun. So either there are several very bright suns, or you've used artificial lighting!

I'm not sure about the title, though. I'd love to know what you were thinking about the image.

those red ghosts of stalks are beautiful. I like them very much. And most of the blue on the outside is very nice too. What I don't particularly like is the very strong white areas in the middle: They conflict with the azure outside, and look espeically heavy. And this makes those outside stalks look too light, as if all the weight of the composition is inside, in that star. In many instances such contrasts are good, but in your image it's too exhaggerated (sp?). Other than this it's a good work, the colors work well together. Hope this helps.

Awesome! The blue/white in the middle is really ghosty, and the purple adds a new dimension of depth to the wonderful picture.

I think the strong white bits give it power, I can't quite explain what it looks like to me as I am not quite sure myself. You say it didn't work out as well as you hoped? I think it's great as it is. Don't change a thing!!! I love it!!!

I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum. How can you be gloomy when the sun shines out your bum? *runs off into distance giggling*

Looks like an awfully good image to me. It does have a glassy appearance and the fragility is its greatest strength.
