'Haunting' is good - this is definitely evocative, emotional and ambiguous. It looks almost as if there is a wall "around the world" and, in the sunlight, it looks almost like a wall of molten fire in places. Intriguingly strange with a curious sense of deep meaning from the unreality. (If that makes any sense.) It makes me think of Middle Earth, for example...
