A guatemalan mother at the march on the School of Americas. Her son, Marvin was one of the disappeared during the country's 36 year civil. The war was caused by a military coup supported by the CIA, which over turned Guatemala's "communist" president, Jacobo Arbenz. For more than three decades, there was enduring battling for power. Fifty-five thousand human rights were violatied, and 200,000 Guatemalans were murdered or disappeared.
