This is a logo I made for my friends' band "Dependant on Christ" or DOC and i thought that i would share it with all my friends here on Caedes. note that this logo is property of the band (but i don't think i would have to tell that to my trusty, law-abiding friends here, now should i :-P)
excerpt from band's myspace: "Words from Dan, Dependent is a band formed several years ago when the group was young, from the beginning we knew that we had to do something. we are a Christian band and have strong Christian beliefs but unlike "SOME" Christian bands we love to rock out and have a great time. To us, yea we love to have a show and rock out but we also love the opportunity to speak about how much God loves us and how He died for us! Keep the metal faith alive and rock like no other thanks for your support and we cant wait to see you at our next concert"

I love almost all genres of music from Classical to Heavy Metal, from Celtic to Doo-Wop.
But I just can't see how you could sing about the same thing over and over and over... It would be like singing a song and saying The Devil is bad...
Well I would agree with you.. The Devil is bad...
But I mean you didn't have to tell me in a song... I already knew the Devil was bad. lol
ANYWAY.... I thought the logo looked cool.
about Christian bands: i've been in a Christian band and have played Christian songs for several years. its not just about one thing. it can be about anything. just like life, people write songs about life. life is about the time between being born and dying, but thats not all u hear about in songs lol u hear about all the different aspects, experiences and beliefs and attitudes people have within life. sure most hymns and contemporary songs can be about how Jesus saved us and whatnot but theres more than that. there are songs about loving one another, about our experiences when we are down and how we can build each other up. theres a lot more to Christianity than being saved. i could probably go on about it but i think i've talked your ears off enough lol thanks again for all the comments!

Just always be sure that your music is for the greater glory of God, and that it is always designed to turn eyes and ears and faces towards Him, not you. Emulate Christ, and you can't go wrong. = - ]
