One of those evenings, when you wait for sunset and when the sun is down, you see stars appearing..

And it's lovely to see that too. I looked out my bedroom window around three am and I saw ONE bright star..so beautiful. This is a nice peaceful shot you took here. Thanx so much. VErena

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can!(Danny Kaye)

Interesting shot. It reminds of one of those old pictures of the dust bowl days in the US. Because the details are not sharp it increases curiousity - a good thing. Thanks for sharing.

I think for me, I would have preferred a sharper image - difficult in low light conditions. I would have liked to see the mist and the buildings in the back ground a little clearer. I do like the 'feel' of the picture and it captures well the time of the evening of First Star.

How do you Know I'm Mad? I must be, otherwise you wouldn't have come here.

Good idea, but sharpnes is not good (use tripod or put camera to wall or something), next time put whitebalance "cloud" (more saturated pict).

I see that you've gotten good advice and I don't have much more to add to it, except to say I like your idea here and it's worth pursuing this type of image and night shots in general.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
