Lexi, I truly like what you have done here. The left side to the middle is filled with a canopy going from top center to right, leaving a blank space below. For me, your composition makes this art versus a snapshot. You planned, you composed, and you executed. You have created an excellent picture with a "see me" and "don't see me" presentation. Sort of like Greek theatre. Again - well done! ~~ John

Gorgeous composition but the focus is a little soft and the image is also a bit dark! Try using an unsharpen mask in Painshop Pro or Photoshop and increasing the contrast! The raw shot is good, it just needs a bit of after shot processing :)

Good use of cropping to get an interesting image. Slightly too small, which is a shame. I do not agree that it is too dark. The deep shadows add depth for me, and are certainly not underexposed. The softness of the focus, well, I often soften my images to get a certain effect, and I think this image deserves that anyway. Pictures like this I find have a sort of natural dream like quality anyway and soft focus just adds to it. Very well done.

I like the shadowy tone to your photo, would have liked to see a tad more of the flower, but still I think it's a lovely work.
