This orchid is always in flower at Easter and it's huge pastel lavender and yellow blooms have a nice scent too. :)

This is a gorgeous flower which you have photographed splendidly. I like the black background and the "diamond dusting" on the petals.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...what a beauty Linda! I am so far behind since I have been out of town. I am glad that I finally caught up with this one though. The colors are so softly muted against the black background. I like how the orchid is ruffled aorund the edges of the bloom. It is such a classy flower and you have presented it well here. Thank you for sharing it with us. I hope that your Easter was peaceful :~)

I saw this rose, stopped the car. grabbed my camera, jumped out and took a quick shot while Mother Nature's sun was providing the last bit of golden light on the flower. This is beautiful. I like the way the lavender contrasts against the black, and the detail is good also! Nice job!
