I can understand you not getting enough of that place. I don't think would be able to either. It's a beautiful area of your state. Someday I hope to see it. Great shot.
It is a wonderful picture from you. I have enjoyed each of them in this series and as Jim said above, I too would love to visit this area and see it for myself.
Well, I saved this in my Fall 07 fave file because of the date and the tinge of yellow over on the left, but I think, after reviewing your fine gallery, that this just might be my most favorite of all the pics you've given us from this breathtaking area. I do have to point out, though, that you might want to check your lens or your filter to make sure that everything is polished up as I se a small greenish dot over in the upper right-hand corner. I wouldn't want any of your future uploads to be marred in any way. Lovely job.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
This one's truly stunning - really nicely done with some foreground interest to give the context. Your pictures just keep on getting better I reckon. As to the green dot, I think it's light bouncing around inside your lens rather than anything on the lens itself - difficult to avoid sometimes when you're phtotographing towards the sun. No wonder you can't get enough of this place Pam, it's outstanding.
