This is beautiful Tern Lake on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Awesome colors that day and some fresh snow!

Well now. I don't know if I have the words to describe this to do it justice. The mountains look so majestic. The fall colors are great. The water and the trees make it perfect. Simply amazing.

Oh my, this scene almost takes one's breath away. I feel like I'm in a plane just taking off and this is the breath taking view I see. The lake being guarded by the trees and the Mountain watching over them both. You are correct, the colors are perfect. Great post Pam.

WOWOWOWOWOW - jaw drops to floor and for only the second time on Caedes I'm speechless. This is utterly fantastic, among the very best landscapes I think I've ever seen anywhere. It's a wonderfully satisfying image, beautifully composed and proportioned. +Fav for me Pam. In British English, I'm gobsmacked.

Thank you for sharing. Such lovely colors. Here in NC most of the trees have dropped their leaves because of the severe drought. No fall colors for us.
