Beautiful shot Pam. It looks like there's a spot on the photo just below the sun. It's kind of distracting. I love the colors and the angle. Composition is great. You're getting such good sunsets/sunrises and eagle photos that next you need one of eagle flying off into the sunset. You're really getting good and I look forward to your photo's.
Great image Pam! I noticed the same thing as the previous post, and I have had the same issue with some of my photos. I guess it pays to spend a little extra time to make sure the lense is clean, especially when shooting into bright light. Gorgeous photo, and nicely framed. Its on my desktop.....
Come, my friends,
'tis not too late to seek a new world. Push off, and sitting well in order smite the sounding furrows; for my purpose holds to sail beyond the sunset, and the baths of all western stars, Until I die.
Tennyson, "Ulysses"
Yes i agree, its a natural lens flare as opposed to the stuff people like me produce in Photoshop and it is better left there to emphasise the fact this is a natural photo beautifully produced. Against the open sun? Very brave and accomplished. Neat framing too; all that empty space on the right side holds its own really well and it is hard to see exactly why. Beautiful.
