This is the view from the top of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Oregon (also a self-portrait). Tried to take it through the windows at the top, however they were a bit dirty, so I took it from this angle.

Makes for a very interesting photo, even if we can't see your pretty face! Love the reflections on the clouds.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Good shot and I like the effect. Clouds look beautiful. Too bad you're hiding behind camera. You can see the view would be awesome. We can imagine the rest. Nice post Pam.

Great idea Pam and a good result! Like it as a self portrait too. Don't go into the Fog! :) Tommy

They allow people to go in there now??!! I didn't know that. For years they wouldn't allow it! I like that you shot "thru" the windows. I took a photo many years ago of the lighthouse in Tillamook, and my oldest daughter was inside by the lens! She was only about ten yrs old then, now she's married and has twins!! Thanx for a gorgeous photo. I didn't know you had taken all these..where have I been?!!! lol..Verena
