Good shot Pam. If there was a cornfield handy I would think it was a scene from North By Northwest. It is a nice trip for the eye to take and exercise. Good post.
Pam - I like this shot, the DOF is superb. 2 suggestions - drop your exposure a half point or full point to bring out the lovely clouds a bit more and try to make the road start at each corner of the picture to really draw the viewer into the scene. See the difference it makes here and here.
Yep, that's Minnesota & I can tell by the flat landscape it's the western part of the state. Wonderful depth to the image ... the dirt/gravel road appears to be endless ... I know I drive them every day.
Rich brought up a good point with the sky ... perhaps a bit more contrast. It truly is a wonderful capture. Being a native Minnesotan I do love this image ... so it's going to my DT & faves. Thank you. :-)
