took this on the north shore of Maui at Hookipa Beach. The waves were quite large and very loud crashing into the rocks. They were beautiful though, lots of surfers, windsurfers and kite boarders. Check back later for action shots of those crazy people!

Great shot Pam. I bet you were glad to get away from all that warm/hot weather and back to Alaska where you could cool off. Those waves are stupendous. Wonderful post.
