this is a shot I took last week of our fiesty volcano, that had a series of eruptions last month. She has been quiet for about 3 weeks now, but recently started rumbling again and they say an even bigger eruption is evident. There is a bit of steam coming off the backside in this shot. Her peak is not quite as pointed as it used to be due to the last sequence of eruptions...now we just wait to see what she has in store for us next!

Excellent post Pam. I am not used to you being back in Alaska. This looks great with all the pale blue and white. The birds looks so good dotted against that mountain and sky. I know a lot of people that let off steam and blow their top. Sometimes they are never the same either. Good post.

Had this isn VB and gave it 10/10, truly beautiful. Looks like some magnificent eagles in the sky also, I see the steam and even spotted it before I read your description
