The frozen carp pond in my local park reflected some unusual colours from leaden skies & overnight snow. Despite freezing temperatures, the little fountain was working just enough to give a break in the ice for the fish to surface.

Isn't there a song about "Winter Wonderland"? This is an amazingly beautifl picture, Anne Marie, my friend! WOW.. I browsed through the "New Images" gallery and my eye caught this, and I just had to open it and "go there". Thanx for inviting me!!! I won't vaulenteer to go sit on the bench there, or take a stroll .. BUT.. i'll save it in my favs.. That's for sure..

This is quite delightful. Just when we think spring is coming along, Mother Nature displays her capriciousness and drops snow on the early flowers. A lovely capture of the two seasons coexisting temporarily. Looks great on my desktop as well as in my faves.

Hello, for some reason I never saw this before and today I did! What a most wonderful place and to have taken this photo, how good you must feel about it! I would think it's one of those photos that you treasure for a long time. The whole thing is so beautiful. The ripples in the center of the water plus all the snow surrounding this is just awesome.
