I like the lighting here, Ms. Andre. You definitely have a knack for making even a swamp look good. Hardcore photographer? Yup....and I'd be doing the same thing with my birthday in November too if it was in LA and if it weren't in January in NH , and if you understood that then you're better at reading my mind than I am... ::LOL:: :(
did you know that the green stuff is really good for certain creatures. the only disappointment i have was that i was sure the swamp beauty would be YOU. excellent shot.
I just get home from a day in the Louisiana Swamps and the first thing I see is a picture of the Swamp. LOL!
Thanks Ms Pat, I was missing it already. Good shot .
Phew! What a relief...I thought it was going to be a picture of you. This is very nice, I especially like the lighting and the green muck. Nice work...for a girl.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

This is wonderful. The lighting is perfect, and the depth in the picture gives a feeling of how big the swamp is. I've seen it, and this is one of the best pictures I've seen.
Great job.
Before reading your narrative, I was going to remark that there are a lot of lovely fall colors in there. I love the feeling I get from this composition and I especially like the shadows across the water.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
