You are quite right Pat, silence is golden, just like the song and amazingly enough I nearly called my river photo that tonight! A very peaceful image - just beautiful!

Yes, I can hear the quiet; my favorite sound. This is a wonderful time of day because as you said, the bark of the cypress trees turned golden as it sets and the lovely water plants are a pretty teal. Let's not forget the little egret adding to the calmness of this entirely lovely scene. Great post, Pat.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Pat,
You have captured a beautiful moment in time here. I saved it.
The whole scene is breathtaking. Colour & detail are great. The Egret is a lucky guy.
Stan.

You my Caedes friends post the most wonderful images out here. Full of beauty, life and gorgeous colors. For that, you have my heartfelt 'thanks'. I love 'browsing them' and wish there was more time to personally comment on every one of them.

Well, if you listen very hard, you might have heard me breathing quietly beside you, wishing I could have been on the scene with you!
I truly is a divine and serene place, wonderful!
