Beautiful image. Looks like you've mastered the XTi very well. I bet mister catfish would like to be there instead of a tank in a Bass Pro Shop. Bravo!

*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

The title is most definitely spot on!! Very 'Jurassic Park'...I love the feeling when you look at an image that you know hasn't changed since the beginning of time. Well, maybe not that long...but definitely "lost in time". Into my favs!!

I love the way the tree trunks look as though they are made of twisted wood! Are these Cypress tress? I always have always been a big fan of moss in tree trunks as well as hanging from trees. You definitely made my day with this capture ! Love the tones of green here (my favorite color :)
Off to my favorites this goes. Thanks for sharing with me ;=)
A wonderful and peaceful setting, Pat! I saw this in the VB, and just knew it had to be yours. I just can't get enough of the beautiful trees in your parts. Got to love the moss too, the way it trails around the bark of the trees. Is that moss hanging from the leaves as well? You can bet it received high marks from me! Well done, my friend! :)
Hello Pat...and oh my! I have always loved those 'classic' Cypress trees! There is just nothing as awesome as those. I miss them. And of course you captured it perfectly...the soft mosses just 'lounging' on the limbs. I remember the first time I ever
tried to waterski down there...and there were all the cypress stumps!! PLUS the worst thing? those little water snake heads
peeking all around me! Needless to say, I never tried it again down in Louisiana swamplands! ROFL!! But I love you posted this, and I'm for sure keepin' this jewel!! Thanx my friend..V
