Wow, now that tree has been around for quite some time! Did you take the path to the right and continue on? Looking forward to more photos of these gardens before you head across the pond.

Between the two trees, I like how the branches seem to reach out and want to embrace or hold hands. The lush colors are wonderful as is the pink bush blossums. A great composition.

A bit rotund like Grover and is it in a grove, perhaps? A lovely gnarly old thing and the setting is quite beautiful.

Pat, that is one spectacular tree! Louisiana has so many of these beauties and they always catch my eye. The foliage is gorgeous along with the blaze of pink flowers. A lot of your images could be on postcards, and should be! Hope you're doing well my friend :^ )

Ref: Southern Louisiana, Cajun Prairie and Cleveland Oak.

Well, thk you so much for commenting on these. It has been so long since I looked at Southern Louisiana, I didn't even recognize the title as being one of mine. Been a long time since I viewed Cajun Prairie too. I put it up as my desktop for awhile.
