What a great shot...for an old....skuze me...elderly woman. I got all excited when I saw this but the after close scrutiny noticed that none of your arms or legs hanging out of it's mouth. *tears closet apart looking for the Gator chum* Hold on don't go away...I want a shot of you next to the Gator.

Wonderful detailed image Pat. It's a pity that there still people who behave themselves as you described in your narrrative. To me this gator is a beauty in its own way and this should be respected.

Beautiful clear shot of the gator. The details are so sharp. There are lots of crazies around in this world, Pat. Put it down to that.

You really caught a good one with excellent clarity here! And it sounds like you met a knight in a truck trying to save you from being gator lunch.

Well, you've sold me on the 2x converter. This is really crisp. Too bad you couldn't have gotten a shot off...I mean a shot of that "lovely" soul.

Great job isolating this fellow. I'm glad you were able to get the shot before that idiot drove up and almost killed the gator.

Pat... you are getting to close to these gators, I am starting to worry about you. It looks like the gator is eye balling for lunch. Be careful out there. Great focus and close up, too close...

Well some people have no respect for wild life and nature as evidence of what you witnessed while getting this GREAT shot!!. It is a terrific capture of this magnificient creature. Although I havw never seen a LIVE alligator from what I have read they donot have good eyesight and so one could approach them from the rear...gerry

GRRRR! People like that REALLY irritate me. This is a great shot though. I expirence people like that in the national forest by where I live too. Its amazing how people lack respect for nature these days. Its neat that you have these guys running around where you live. =)
