WARNING: THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE SOLD OR POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. Captured this one over the weekend not far from where I live. It is another scene visible from an overpass on a country road. I see a hint of some fall color or it could be saltwater damage from the recent hurricanes. However, I really don't think saltwater would find it's way this far North of Interstate 10(2 miles). I like the lighting in this also and would you believe this is a high noon shot? Canon 24-70mm.

Love it Pat! You've captured the elements well! I wanted to ask you when are mudbugs in season? If you eat them when would be a good time to go to get good crayfish like at a restaurant etc...?

Beautiful scene with clear details. I can quite believe it was noontime - the sun wouldn't get through that mass of green so easily!

great shot, pat. there are so many wonderful parts to this one: the many shades of green, water reflections, color other than green in the one tree, position and detail of the tree trunks.

Know by own experience Momma that saltwater does something quite different with the trees as shown on your image, so it are wonderful autumn hues to me.
Bravo for the composition as well!
