Found this quaint old place near Chicot State Park. I can't tell if it is occupied or not. But, it sure does go back a few years. The title comes from the little structure behind the house. Do you see it...the one with the "half moon"? Anyone around here old enough to remember using those half moon cottages ............. ...................................... ...............................Bob?

I have mooned more then one rodent in those half moon structures Owd Momma. Is it a one or two-holer? I have a one piece board that was the seat in our two holer. Thought I would use it for a picture frame. This would make a good one for one of the holes. :) That's a compliment.

In Germany instead of the half moon it used to be a little heart cut out on the door! You could peep through! I haven't seen one of those but thanks for the nice image here.

Very well done capture and this neat old place and yes I do remember those half moons. My grandparents had one and we had to watch out for snakes when using it. =^..^= sandi ♪

Interesting place Pat, if only buildings could speak what stories they'd tell. Talking about "half-moon cottages" reminded me of a book my father had years ago. It was called "The Specialist" by Chic Vale.

We called them *dunnies* and one of the houses I lived in as a very young lad still had one out the back even though there was a indoor toilet on the house by that point. Cool shot Pat.

Hello Pat....I do like this picture of that old cabin....It looks like one of the cabins that the artist Bob Ross used to put into his paintings...Is that an outside toilet behind the cabin?...A well composed shot Pat and well done....All the best to you.................................................Mick.
