I like lemons & often use freshly squeezed lemon juice in recipes. Great detail & I'm enjoying the lemon yellow / green contrast. Nice DOF too. Excellent capture Pat.

Yeah I love lemons. Perfect focus with all three lemons and the leaves nicely sharp and a sweet bokh for the rest - the kind of attention to detail you need when shooting something with so few elements. Maybe a touch of play in the curves dialogue to lighten it but on the other hand I like the colour intensity of the slightly darker mode. :) (Perhaps I need some lemon juice to make me more decisive!)

Oh hey, this is right up my alley just now...! My mouth is puckering as we speak. These three look juicy enough to eat... almost. Love the green to yellow-green to yellow simplicity of your image. If you pick 'em I'll bring the sugar. ;-)

Ohhh I wish I had some of those. My Mom used to send them to me from Arizona..but no more...they are so much sweeter fresh off the tree. How fortunate you are to have those there. What I wouldn't give to have a bunch. Yummm..a beautiful photo to make my mouth water. Thanx Pat...verena

Yes please, if wou'll offer me the ticket to cross the ocean. Else it would be rather expensive lemons for me Momma. Although the lemons in the supermarket aren't that huge and beautiful, think I'll be 'forced' to buy them there, lol.

They look delicious and colourful! I noticed the difference between self grown lemons and the ones you buy when some friends gave us some last year. Beautiful image too.

Pat - The depth of field, with the blurred background adds much to this photo. The lemons and leaves are crystal clear, with the lighting from behind. Great photo work! When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade (and invite all your Caedes friends over for a drink)! lol Thad

I use lemons all the time in my cooking. There aren't too many savoury dishes that don't benefit from a squeeze of lemon juice. This is a gorgeous still life/ nature/food and drink picture.

Beautiful... And so well-captured! I like the lighting: not to aggressive, so it doesn't compete with those lemons. I'd love one for my tea, I'd think that in LA those lemons are delicious.
