Well, a few days ago I posted a pic of Bob and called it, "Bum On A Bench". This image I titled "Bird On A Branch". Wonder if the two are related (woo-hoo)

It does have the look of the Owd Timer showing his bum. It is probably letting little bird farts. I think I saw the bum feathers moving. Excellent post Owd Momma and congratulations to your Saints. Perhaps you are one.

I love this composition, with the bird facing away from you, and just the few small branches of what looks like a bush. The blurred background is beautiful. Very nice work, Momma.

That is a nice clear shot of the bird. The details and the colours are very good.

Hey Pat, it's a Phoebe. Probably a Black Phoebe like the one
I submitted earlier and you commented that you had never seen
one. Now you have. Very cool. Your composition and background
are exceptional. Phoebes are a flycatcher. If you look it up
in a bird book go directly to flycatchers. Its beak and the
whiskers on the beak are distinguishing features for flycatchers.\

I like this shot. It has a nice composition, very clean and uncluttered. (Though I would even shop out the second branch coming in from the bottom)

Pat this is one of the sweetest photos of a bird I've seen in a while And that branch he's perched on does it! So delicate and so precious. And the way you got him turning his head a bit, just awesome. Thank you for allowing me to do a canvas painting of this little guy..It will be fun. I'll send you the first copy...thank you so so much..verena

I am fascinated with this shot. You captured the bird at just the right moment...the direction of its head aligned with the branch is so natural but seems placed. Great shot :)

A very beautiful bird. Love the coloration in the background, it just brings out the bird just that little bit, I'd think.
