I don't know if ya all will like this or not. I have had it on my desktop for a few days and have decided it is worth posting. It's different. I was shooting a sunset when some birds flew across. I had no time to think or change settings, just time enough to shoot. What do you all think?

I love the orange tones and the bit of cloud shape to lift it beyond mere colour gradient dazzle. The birds came out remarkably well for a "now or never" capture. In terms of the comp, maybe the line of birds is just a bit too midline and horizontal, but I'm nitpicking. Can't really change the horizontal without it looking like they will be flying up or down hill, but placing them higher or lower might add something. Might not too. :)

Hello Pat....The simplicity of this picture is what appeals to me....Their are times when we do'nt have the right settings on the camera and if you had tried to put in the right settings there is no doubt you would have missed this opportunity of the birds flying into the sun...Well done....All the best to you Pat.....................................................Mick.
