NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS COPYRIGHTED AND NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. This is the first of a series of images I took on a recent 1800 mile trip out to West Texas and back. I went to Ft Davis just south of I-10 at about the 209mm. When I lived in Lubbock, TX I was a member of a motorcycle club that went camping in the Davis Mountains every year. I wanted to go back and see this beautiful scenery again. There is a 75 mile loop thru the mountains called the Davis Mountain Loop. This is a photo from that loop. Then on the way back I stopped in Junction, Kerrville and Spring Branch, TX to photograph the South Llano and Guadalupe Rivers. Hopefully, you'll see some pretty good photos of these areas. All pictures on this entire trip was taken with the Canon 5D Mark 2 and the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 lens. A lens with a 24-70 range give or take is just about a "do all" lens if your in the market for a general use landscape lens.
