Cormy has a glass eye and it is really colorful Owd Momma. If he was the first one to land on that post, he was full of .... :) Good composition, nothing to distract from the shot which is really good.
Hi Pat, good photo of the fascinating Cormorant. Look at those eyes! I see them a lot around here in Holand but they are distinctly different. And worse they are gone as soon as they recognize me as a human being. No wonder as they have hunted down mercifully for ages. But now they are under protection and them breed like rabbits, eating away all the fish. I see the lens you used, do you like it? It has this pumping mechanism right? You mentioned it is a 100-400mm lens, but actually it is, on your camera with 1.6x crop factor, effectively a 160-640 mm lens. Amazing! Paul
