NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. Found this growing in the "back 40" on my property. It is a VERY tiny bloom-miniature if you will. This was taken with a Canon G12 which I bought recently. Really great for close ups. Don't know what kind of bloom this is.

It's lovely, Pat. I really like the color. Could be in the pea family. They like cooler weather. I think you will like that G12. I think Kathy (trixxie17) has one too.

Very nice indeed Pat.
I believe it is a wild pea flower sometimes called Butterfly Pea.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Cindy is right Pat I started using a G12 about 6 months ago and like it very much so far -it does an excellent job on flowers which is kind of my speciality anyway - this is a great example in this wild sweet pea.
