The electricity went out yesterday for over two hrs on a 90 degree day, so I went outside to sit in a breeze. This huge butterfly went zooming past me heading for my flowerbeds. You know the rest of the story.

A very good capture, I like the luminous look through its wings. I don't know if it's because of the harsh winter we had and the cooler weather this summer, but I'm just not seeing them this year. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Excellent close up and angle, such gorgeous colours and detail. Really like the way the sunlight is is glowing through the wings with him standing on that wonderful colours flower
Think you could send us some of that heat, it's not even 70F here and goes down to around 55F, but makes great sleeping
