The name for this image came about from the way the petals point down in an ark and resemble the cascading colors of fireworks that have gone off. ????????? Ok, so it's been a loooooooooooong day......

You described it perfectly, Pat. The only differences being that the flower doesn't make as much noise, and the it lasts a little longer. Beautiful color and clarity in this beautiful shot.

One gorgeous lily and love the elegant colours with the wonderful sunshine shining down on her. I really love the colours on the pedals and the way the sun brings out the super detail. I've never seen one this colour but I'd love to have one like that
