Please view image full screen. This image was taken in April of 2015. It is my front yard. I have a circle drive and allow my neighbor to park his truck on the west side of the drive. I think we had about a 3 inch rain the day this picture was taken. I have been watching the news of the flooding in MO. The news has been talking a lot about how bad it was in 1993. I remember trucking across I-44 during that time and I was awestruck at all the water and flooding at that time. I had never seen anything like it. And now, they say it is going to be worse-the worst flooding in 20 years. My thoughts and prayers for all of those in various states caught in these terrible floods.

It's spreads from The USA to the UK...Never had rain like it..OK where we are but other parts have been under water for a month now..El Nino I believe the cause of it....Human activity too..All these fossil fuels we are burning..India and China since their industrial production rocketed and the amount of CO2 they are producing..They are walking around with masks on because of the pollution..We are slowly killing ourselves all for the profits of the Oil companies...R.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The floods in Paraguay, U.K. and other parts of the world are signs of a drastic climate change. A monster storm in Atlantic has brought up the temperature at North Pole to 39 deg. F today! This has never happened before. Nice shot of the rain soaked landscape.

I don't every remember hearing about El Nino back in the early days, so it does make me wonder if what we are doing as humans has brought this on. Good capture, and fits very well what is going on in so many places. Several years ago, my friend and I visited Nashville, Tn. and just a few days later they had all of that hard fast rain, and the flooding that overtook the mall, and the opry. I remember that on return visits we could still see the tell tale affects from that time. tigs=^..^=

We haven't had a drop of rain for well over a month here in Northern Italy. Forecasters predict colder temps and snow are just around the corner. Stay dry!

More floods today in other areas....Those trees over there would be half covered if they were here, as well as that truck!..

You take care, and keep out of the wet!

These are the days when I wish I was an umbrella salesman! It's been raining here in Delaware for a week. I bet it turns to snow when I get ready to go back to Ohio.

Thank you for the thoughts Pat.

It is epic here...in a bad way. I 44 is shut down from 141 for 20+ miles West. I 70 shut down. Route 30 shut down. MoDot shut down
I 55 about 3 hours ago stranding thousands of motorists.

State route 231 is the only North South Route open as of this moment.

Some people spent 7+ hours trying to get home today/tonight.

Rivers are cresting tomorrow ( praying that is true.)

There are many areas of town that are now currently islands. No way in, no way out.

Happy New Year!!
