Aaaaah me first Paul!.....This is very good, you have managed to catch the 'balance' just right.....the suble greys topped with cream!...that sounds like a desert dish!...you must have had a great deal of snow...it is just beginning here.....Funguses...all right 'Fungi' is pretty scarce here as well...I think they are a delicacey in most parts!...I do like this one and give you high points for it..........Brill!
Hi Paul, how I love this image, with it's rich brown tones, flecked with greens and then topped with the white of frosty snow!! How unusal and beautiful!! I am not familiar with mushroons as so many are on Caedes, but I once told Darryl and Russ, that they photographic these 'shroons' as lovely flowers, truly!! And now you have joined them in this unique ability to do the same! They really are perceived, at least by me, as lovely flowers! They just photograph so beautifully! Good job, Paul! High marks from me, Sincerely, Marilyn
Now THIS is magnificient Paul!! You know me and ''shrooms!...and then for me to actually see some with snow on them, well, you just can't "top" that!(yes, pun intended!!)..This is so lovely. When you went out for your early morning snow walk, is this one of the things you found? These mushrooms must not be too far from your home..The winter feeling this picture gives is just wonderful! The softness of the mushroom plus the snow, well, its a most awesome thing...thank you for posting such a pretty photo...into favs it goes!!
Amazing view of the changing natural world and climate. I thought it was rocks in the thumb--shrooms just didn't register, in my mind, as fitting in with the snow.
Well done Paul. What I like about this image most is the sharpness. The dof is awesome too. Similar color scheme along with the good white balance creates majic here.
Oh Paul, you always bring us such wonderful things to see. The clarity is awesom here in this picture, the overall image is terrific, great find and capture on this one. Lovely!!
