Another look in my garden in close up. I placed a dark purple background to create a better contrast. Isn't she lovely?

Yes she is Paul,magnificent photo with the dew drops and just a kiss of the sun reflecting on that petal. You have done this beauty justice.

Lovely indeed. Good choice of dark background. I can just feel the silkyness of this flower. The two "ears" sticking up give it perfect balance. The shadows/lighting is perfect. The balance and placement of the yellow in the 3 different locations in the composition is stricking as well. It is rare to find a "perfect" flower but I believe you did. Only one thing...what if it is a "him" instead of a "her"?

Hi Paul, you know, another title for this awesome beauty might be "Heavenly Light"! This Iris is delicately adorned in purple for her moonlit dance under the stars! She is so delighted with her surroundings that only a night of dancing with nature could please her! The soft sound of music is her pleasure, and she will live til morn to bring us another day of entertainment in 'the color of purlple'! Good job, Mr. Paul, Sincerely, Marilyn
