I get so many nice responses on my series about Holland. Thanks everyone! Here is antoher. This is in a place called Enkhuizen, which is situated at the IJsselmeer (meer = lake). Some fine architecture can be found around the old harbour where fishing boats and tourist boats lay side. Sorry for that overcast, we have had some pretty bad weather here lately.

Hello Paul, this is so real, just like little doll houses! The architecture is so pleasing to the eye and creates an ambience for me, that is indeed a pleasant experience!! You do such a marvelous job of photographing and presenting to us, that it is amazing to me! I kind of feel like it is a virtual reality experience, that I am really in your presence and viewing it through your lens! Now that takes some imagining, doesn't it! Very nice work and I too have enjoyed your 'Holland' series! Thank you, Sinerely, Marilyn

As Marilyn said - dainty little doll houses which make such a very Dutch atmosphere which I love. Similar impressions I have had while visiting Antwerp although it is in Belgium. In general the architecture of this part of Europe is my very best favourite - Holland, Belgium and Germany.
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful series, Paul, and best congratulations !!!

I really am intrigued and delighted with this architecture. I wouldn't mind docking my boat at the front (back?) door either. Nice clear photo.

Paul,
Wat is Nederland toch mooi he! We hebben toch wel heel veel bijzondere bouwwerken, steden en atracties. Een land waar we best trots op mogen zijn.

What is the Netherlands nevertheless beautiful he! We have nevertheless a lot of particular construction work, cities and atracties. A country where we can be best proud on.

The architecture of these buildings is quite unlike anything we have locally. Someone mentioned dollhouses and that was my first impression too. There is so much detail, the more I look at it the more I find to look at. You would have to be careful coming down those stairs on the left. Especially on New Years Eve, two steps and splash… instant sobriety.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

It is no wonder you get nice responses on your photos. You place a pleasing picture in front of us to enjoy capturing detail and angles that seems almost professional. This is another beauty.
