Isn't this lovely..the colors are so rich and the composition is nicely done so that it's possible to enjoy the beautiful angles and curves, perspectives. I really like the chandeliers and the reflections they pick up. Then how could one miss that massive pipe organ. I'd love to hear it played...which leads me to the soft peachy glow up at the top near the ceiling. Is that artifical light, or is it a reflection of the rich colors in the ceiling? I could wax on, but suffice it to say it's in my favs :)PJ
I could sit in this place for hours.. maybe days. It's a lot of money, but I wish churches were still being built this way (as cathedrals). There is nothing like their awesome feeling to make you feel small, temporal, and human - very sobering and counter-cultural. Anyway, back to the photo - GREAT PHOTO... so much to capture but you managed to include many things to explore with the eye. With luck (for me) you'll post more of this place. :-) cheers, Quiet
This is an excellent shot! The colors are so crisp and clear. There is so much to see in this magnificant church. I like the angle you shot it from. It provides much depth and a great perspective.
Amazing capture of this beautiful interior. Crisp, clean and clear with lovely lighting. Excellent post. Thanks for sharing this. TYU=Thank you unnecessary ;)

Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
If you hadn't said anything, I would not have noticed anything cloned, Paul. You did a good job on that and on the entire scene. Well composed, lit and a breathtaking view. - Patty
Outstanding photo! Tried to give it 11 out of 10 in the VB this morning, put had to settle for a Perfect Ten. Congratulations on capturing such a truly mesmeric image. Looks great on my desktop, as it brings out all the Cradle Catholic in me.
great image, with a superbe light.
well done once again Paul, did you clone yourself away on the reflection in the first hanging chandelier as well ? hehe he, great shot.
Please have a look at the back side of the church wall, is that some part of the church or maintanance scafholding ?
