I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

Hey Paul!!..how gorgeous this is. It's like you've been able to make "tiny people" of all of us and allowed us to climb into that beautiful tulip with you...look at that sweet pollen dust! Wow, and the way those black stamens look against that red..They look like tiny twirling paint brushes that have put even smaller speckles of black..and see at the top of the green 'stem'? it looks like crystalized sugar...wow...My goodness you are so fortunate to be able to shoot a closeup like this. I am sending you tons of hugs 'n smooches all the way across the USA and the big Atlantic sea...just to say thank you sooooooooo much for this beauty!! Verena

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

I don't think they get any more macro than that. My eyes couldn't look at it if it did! LOL Beautiful, Paul.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, although sometimes I wonder if I have. I'll catch up with my friends list eventually though.

The colors are incredibly vivid, the details razor sharp, and the out-of-focus petal in the foreground frames this wonderfully. into faves.
