Embarking at the town of Wilderswil I made this train the Schynige Platte at 1976 m altitude. The mountain Schynige Platteis known for it's fine view over the Swiss Alps. The train is one of the oldest in Switserland.
It's not easy to capture the sense of immense height or altitude in a photo, Paul, but this one is truly vertigo-inducing. I am envious of you, not only for your photographic skills, but also for having visited the Alps on so many clear, sunny days!
Oh very nice ! all the big mountains nicely lined up, the Schreckhorn, Eiger, even the famous North Wall shows, Mönch, Junkfrau, and to the right you get a very nice view into the Lauterbrunnen valley. Quiet a panorama !!!
Thanks in advance for everyone's kind words in regards to my pics. <a href="http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Gallery&author=jodie38mader&page=1.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
