Paul, what exactly was this owl doing, sitting on your chest like this? I mean, he had to be that close for you to get a photo this tack sharp. It was obviously taken outside - I can see the reflection of a house with a chimney in his eye but the rest is pretty dark. An amazing photo. The wide range of feather types, shapes and the sensation that they are right here in my hand is truly amazing. Into my favorites and saved for a friend who loves birds on her desktop. I can hear your phone ringing - better go answer it. Most likely it's National Geographic wondering why you haven't filled out your new staff forms yet.
I will not be leaving comments on the new postings for the next 2 and ˝ weeks, due to me being very busy getting ready for the holidays. So I hope you don’t mind, but I’ll be checking on them when I can. Once we are on board the ship, I’ll have to wait till we get back to Orlando after the cruise, due to the cost of internet on the ship is so high. Look out, here I come to hotter weather, lol.
excellent. i love the messy feathers and especially his beautiful eyes. with all your megapixels, i'm wondering how far away from you the owl was? you're so great at this.
Outstanding close up photo, love the deep orange in the eye and the reflection.
Looks like he had a bit of a rough day, with is head gear.
