I took this photo while on a tour in Florence, Italy. This was one of our stops. I decided to snap a couple shots of the architecture while we were hanging around.

I spotted this image in VB this morning. After a moment of hesitation I voted 9/10. The reason for -1 was my slight suspicion of some manipulation. Now I beg your apology LOL

Nice shot but I would like to see the buildings on the right lightened up. I find them too dark, not able to see. Beautiful sky overhead.

I too saw this in the voting booth, and gave it 8/10 for 2 reasons. The buildings on the right are too dark, and they give the piece an unbalanced feel.
That was the bad, so now for the good. A very slight angle change and some cropping, and you would have that wonderful tower against the blue sky and clouds. That would definately be a good picture. So, you've got something good here, you just need to bring out more of it. Try it cropped, or try lightening up the structure on the right to bring it out more.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
The angles of the building on the right and the tower are a bit odd, perhaps due to perspective from the spot where you took the picture. This affects the balance of the photo. The arch in the lower right is of interest.
