Nebraska doesn't have much in the way of waterfalls -- too flat -- and most of the fall in the state appear in the Niobrara River valley. Fort Falls is on the Fort Niobrara lands which once was a cavalry post but is now a wildlife refuge. It is the second tallest fall in Nebraska, at a height of about 70 feet.
