Smith Falls is Nebraska's tallest waterfall at 73 feet tall. It gets its name from resembling a blacksmith's forge: the top part looks like the chimney, the part hidden by the tree in this image has an indent that looks like a forge. I find it strange that both Berry Falls and Smith Falls stick out from the surrounding cliff face instead of being indented in. It causes the water spread to make the falls more impressive.
