This is the Boulder River. There used to be a natural bridge across it, about halfway back to the current bridge, but it collapsed in the late 1990s. The river has formed a new bridge by pouring down a hole and exiting into a box canyon a little bit further on. I'll show you this later. During the spring, more water flows than what can go down the hole, so it flows both over and under the natural bridge.
