My life has been so busy and it has been years since I last did a woodburning. My wife found a pumpkin (apple?) shaped lazy-susan and asked if I could dress it up. I found a design that I liked and even though some of my letters were not even (wood grains get in the way -- yeah, that's my story), I like how it turned out.

Jeff, I don't know how difficult woodburning is, but I imagine it's not an easy task to achieve an acceptable result.
If so, receive my compliments because the result is far beyond acceptable. It's excellent.

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

That is SO nice and a wonderful talent yo have. Such a nice quotation as well. I have a few items my late mother created by the same method. I treasure them dearly.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You did a fine job on the cutting board. I love the quote also.
