The Christmas Cactus bloomed at its usual Thanksgiving time. This year, the pink color came out much stronger than in prior years. I inherited it from a friend who was moving. She had gotten it from her grandmother. Unfortunately, she didn't know how to care for a Christmas Cactus, so I nursed it into health. Then the old pot broke on another friend when he was moving it. He insisted on repotting it. Well, he nearly killed it off by overwatering it. So, I nursed it back to health. Thus, up until this year, the blooms were white with just a hint of pink. No more hinting around for this lady.
