Arizona's Superstition Mountain has long been the source of stories and tales about lost gold. This land of towering spires and deep canyons was formed by volcanic upheaval some 29 million years ago during the tertiary period of geologic time.

Beautiful shot of the Superstition Mtns. I remember this view so well. I spent 3 months in AZ camping & hiking near these mountains. Didn't find any gold though. Great contrast in colors ~ very well done.

I've never seen this place. Very nice capture of it. I wonder if you could saturate it a little more? I like seeing the cactus in the foreground, too.
