As much as I enjoy the colour combinations of the red and green displayed together in your piece overall, curious as to what the visual impact would be if you separated/composed the red and green sections ... separately?
Why? You may ask?
That red is fairly dominant and I do find my eyes drawn to the upper right hand area.
Although, has to be said that the luminance/brightness of the green/blue central portion almost offsets/balances this facet. So..
Let's go to a coin toss, call it when it is in the air..

Heads, you win. Nice work. ;o)
And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us and best wishes for the upcoming year to you and yours. :o)
Nice, I like that highly detailed red with smooth and simple green. The blue down at the bottom right is too much of a contrast with the red though; I think you should have kept to the warm palette. But overall I like it, it's festive. :)
I think Jenny has a point about the blue, but, in my opinion, I think all of your colors work very well and the blues, in particular, give depth to the picture. Creating a 3-d effect.
I also found it curious that the light sources were all ringed by the red garland. I feel that what you created is a beautifully crafted abstract Christmas tree.
You know... 13 years later and I still love it. Not only that, but I disagree with myself: I think that blue works quite well (or maybe I have a better monitor?), and - while startling - serves as good contrast.

Ahem..

Nice work.
If I may be bold, think you have two flames here.
