The sea, gently wrapped around the wharf's legs, beckoned me to walk towards the imaginary door at the other end. I resisted the urge, though, and just took a picture instead :-)
What a really neat shot! I like how you've worded the details too. It does look like a door to the "other side". The contrast between wood & water, shading & lighting make for a very interesting picture! Thanks for sharing it.
No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops and screensavers I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Reminds me of some of the wharfs I've walked under to try to see what 'down there'. Excellent post with great clarity and color. Thanks for sharing it.
Seeds of contentment bring harvests of peace. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
